Construction industry is definitely one of the most important industries and it’s growing in a rapid rate. Today many lightweight ceilings are produced to make the buildings lighter, and Stretch ceiling is one of the lightest. So it is possible to install a stretch ceiling in an area of up to 64 square meters that is only supported by surroundings. These suspended stretch ceilings are very unique and beautiful to be used for interior decoration.
In 20th century the new technology of stretch ceiling came from Sweden and then extended through West Europe. The first stretch ceiling was made in 1969 and the first European company that started the production of these ceilings was BARRISOL and that’s the reason they are called BARRISOL ceilings. BARRISOL Company has been started since 1975.
